Building a lifestyle beverage brand with depth, texture, & cultural identity
We built XOCHi’s brand from the ground up, crafting their visual identity and defining their voice through ongoing, strategic content. The result was a brand with real presence, a growing community, and placement in two major national grocery retailers.
The challenge
The functional beverage space is highly saturated with brands that often lacks depth or identity. There are many competitors with a few taking up the marketplace.
XOCHi needed to establish a distinct brand presence to stand out amongst strong competition.

We built out a brand foundation to shape the target audience, brand personality, ethos & communication, creating pillars for storytelling and brand identity.
The goal was to create a brand that feels human, textured and recognizable inspiring others to feel good, and live a vibrant & healthy lifestyle.
The Process

We believe in brands that feel human. Especially Xochi. A vibrant + vital brand that loves life and wants to promote feeling great in lifestyle and in their bodies as well as in their communities.
Xochi aims to also bring healthier beverage alternatives to latin cultures with bold mexican inspired flavors.
They are natural, authentic & seriously delicious. We began with a brand deck outlining Xochi’s personality, identity, verbiage, emoji usage, colors, and even possible aligned influencers. We chose to utilize mediums like super 8 video, hand drawn graphics and film photography to showcase the authentic texture not just in the beverage, but in their content strategy in the midst of an AI heavy world. -
As a team, we operated as their fractional creative department supporting with monthly mood boards, shot lists, and hand selected models to help bring each campaign to life in a way that was not only aligned with the brand soul of Xochi, but also their KPI’s.
We would work on cultivating intentional cross promotion through partnerships, aligned talent, venues and upscale events through our network of creatives and event producers. -
We worked with Xochi to create their monthly supply of content ranging from carousels, to reels, hand drawn graphics and promotional material, inviting customers into stores to purchase the delicious, healthier alternative.
Each month we planned the shoots from ideation to execution and implementation, analyzing with the team, which posts gained the most traction. We planned their grid feed, contributed caption inspiration and initiated cross promotion through the monthly diverse content.
XOCHi is sweetened with aguamiel and we wanted to educate customers on the origin and health benefits of this natural sweetener found inside the agave plant.
